Hello
I am descended from Antoine and Jacobina (Dorn) Pfohl of Surburg, Alsace-Loraine, France. From what I have gathered, they had at least 4 children: Edward George, Antoine, Mary Ann and Joseph. Antoine and Jacobina died in Sherrill, Dubuque Co. IA. I am from their daughter Mary Ann's lineage. Would love to find any more of this line.

I am also a descendent of Mary Ann Pfohl and Thomas Duster. Do you have a copy of the Pfohl Family History compiled by Sister Edna Pfohl abt. 1977?

Thank you for getting in contact with me. No, I do not have much on this line of my family. Do you have the Pfohl history you mentioned? What I do have is on my website at www.geocities.com/carriejeanjacket/duster
I would love to be able to add to what I have and correct anything that is incorrect. Thanks again
Carrie

Carrie,

I am also a descendent of Thomas Duster and Mary Ann Pfohl. I do have a copy of the Pfohl family history compiled by Sister Edna Pfohl and will send you a copy of it at your request if you have not already obtained one.

While I think it is fairly accurate, their is little to no documentation included, so you have to take it in faith that the information is correct.

Let me know if you would like a copy.

Thank you very much for responding. Someone else already sent me a copy of Sister Edna's work. I have put it all on another data base. How are you related? You can email me directly at flutterbye1975@cs.com

I'm searching for the Iowa, N.J. and Luxemburg Dusters of early to mid 1880's. I Found Joseph in Lemars, Iowa in 1910 and 1930 census, showing his parents from N.J. and Luxemburg or Germany. Does he tie in with your Thomas Duster?
Thanks.
