I am searching for the burial location of Sgt. Robert "Bobby" George PFLASTER, 1947-1967, Viet Nam Veteran. Was first buried in Augusta, Ga. and then moved to Illinois, I believe. Searching for cemetery and name of town. BOBBY

Bobby: I too would like to find more about George. I went
through Parris Island with George and was a friend after
boot camp. What do you know about how he was killed?

For pictures type into a search engine "Platoon 244" and Neil
wilson has put in the platoon book. Someone there may know

Bobby: The Platoon 244 book shows his name spelled
"Pflasterer" Only George Pflasterer from Augusta Ga I know
of who was a Sgt who was in the Marines and killed in Viet
Serveral pictures of him in the Platoon book

I am told that Robert George Pflasterer USM is buried near
Centralia ILL in a little town called tipten. I believe his
brother Alfred lives in Centralia

Bobbie: George is buried in the Tilden Cemetary in Tilden,
Illiniois about 50 miles sw from ST Louis Mo.

Like to know, if you know, who George was with in Vietnam

This man was my uncle (my mothers brother). Uncle Bobby Is buried in the Tilden, Illinois cemetary.. Please note the correct spelling of the last name as PFLASTERER. If you have any info concerning Uncle Bobby please e-mail me. THANKING YOU IN ADVANCE.... Jerry Sutton

MY FAMILY WAS VERY CLOSE TO WEN, MARY & BOBBY. WHEN THEY LIVED IN FT HOOD, TEXAS. MY MOTHER DIED IN 1962 AND MARY LEFT HER FAMILY TO COME TO FT CAMPBELL, KY AND HELP MY FATHER TAKE CARE OF HER 5 CHILDREN. SHE STAYED 2 WEEKS. WE LOVED THEM ALL. I AM SO SORRY TO SEE THY ARE ALL GONE NOW.
