Albert Pflager, 90 Dies; Services to Be Held Wednesday

One of Wellsville's oldest residents, Albert J. Pflager, 90, died yesterday afternoon in Jones Memorial Hospital. He had been in ill health for a long time.
Mr. Pflager was a lifelong resident of Wellsville. He was born here April 28, 1862 a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Pflager.
Most of his adult life was spent as a lumberman and carpenter.
For many years he was foreman at the Duke Lumber Mill, which was one of the largest ever operated in this area.
Mr. Pflager was married 66 years ago to Lena Hauser who died in October 1946.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Simons of Wellsville; two sons: Laurence J. Pflager of Wellsville and Graydon D. Pflager of Buffalo; five grand chlidren and six great grandchildren.

Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Simons of 334 South Main Street. The Rev. Clair Potter of the First Congregational Church will officiate and burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
