Adam Pfeifer, grandson of Johannes crossed over to colony Herzog in 1828 with his family and his stepmother Katrina. He was the first Pfeifer in colony Herzog.
Michael and Theresa Pfeifer came to the USA on the steamship Mosel in 1876 and settled in Victoria, Kansas.
The archives in Russia show that Johannes came from Ulm, Baden-Wertemburg, Germany.

Michael Pfeifer 1828 was a brother to Anna Catherine Pfeifer who married Johannes Braun. Michael is the great-great grandfather of Lawrence A. Weigel.
