I am interested in finding the family of Emilia Pfefferkorn who married Herman L. Bruegge in Cooperstown Wisconsin. Also interested in Lila Pfefferkorn.

Re: Pfefferkorn in Wisconsin
Dear Beverly:
Saw your inquiry about Wisconsin's Pfefferkorns. I presently live in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. I live just a few miles away from the homestead of Martin Pfefferkorn, who migrated from Germany (Prussia) in 1858. The farm was near the tiny berg of Melnik, just south of Cooperstown. The Pfefferkorn clan had a family reunion on that same homestead in 1958; celebrating the 100th anniversary. I was 11 years old then. They handed out a great history book of the Pfefferkorn's. It was compiled by Erwin Pfefferkorn, at that time, the high school principal at Waupun, WI. Have you ever seen it? I remember the name of Bruegge in that book. If I can, I will give you any info from that book. Presently, I do not have access to it. Otherwise, I do not have any personal knowledge of the Bruegge connection to the Pfefferkorns. The people who knew about the Bruegge's have long pasted away.
Just give me a little time to look up the two names.
Where are you located?
Dave Pfefferkorn

Re: Pfefferkorn in Wisconsin
Emilia is my Great, Great, Great Grandmother. My cousin has the history book that David is talking about. I'm still working on my tree, and I'll be getting all the information out of that book when I go on leave at the end of the month.
