Michael was my nephew. The last I had heard from him was when he lived in California. He would call me from time to time trying to "borrow" money. When I refused, he quit calling. My sister, his mother, was Jerrene DeBray Bickham. Jerre was married to Paul Johnson and they lived in Silver Spring, MD at Summit Hills. My wife, Betty and I lived in Rosemary Hills when I was going to college. Jerre died in Boca Raton, FL on July 7, 2001. I have no idea what happened to Paul Johnson (nicknamed PJ). Hi, just got back from a trip and found your note. I will scan the photo and send to you, its quite cute. Hopefully we can find a family member who is related to the child as well.

I am seeking information about Michael Pfaffenberger who died last year. I am trying to contact his brother Paul Johnson to offer condolences. I am an old friend. I knew Mike when he moved to Maryland from Florida in the early 1980s.

Charles Wesley Pfaffenberger was the son Edward W. Pfaffenberger. He was born July 6, 1889 in Booneville, MO. He began his career as a letter carrier in Booneville on June 8, 1908 and continued with the Post Office Department into the 1950’s. His career took him through Coffeyville, KS, Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA and Washington, DC. He ended his career in the upper echelon of the Post Office Department.

Hi Renee. I'm Bill Pfaffenberger from Avon, IN and I think that I have the information for you. Your grandfather Robert's father (your great grandfather) was Ferris Newton Pfaffenberger. He was a brother to Clarence J. Pfaffenberger who was the author of "The New Knowledge of Dog Behavior." You are a descendant of Andrew Pfaffenberger who brought his large family to America in 1837. I have written a small book on Andrew and his offspring. You linage to Andrew is as follows: Andrew => John Conrad => Newton J. => Ferris Newton => Robert => Your father. Hey-
Renee Pfaffenberger here from Prescott Valley, AZ. My grandfather was Robert Pfaffenberger and he told me we were related to Clarence Pfaffenberger but I cant remember exactly how. I don't have any old photos but I would sure love to see some if anyone has any to post.

My great great grandmother was Barbara Pfaffenberger b. 1858, Baden Germany, she immigrated in 1884 and died in 1943 in cincinnati ohio, she married Frederick Wilhelm Landgraf, any info on her parents or Pfaffenbergers in Baden would be appreciated

i am from Germany. My Grandma comes from Enchenreuth, her name is Gertrud Pfaffenberger.
I live with my famely in the country NRW. My City is Geldern/Kapellen. My Grandma is in hospital. She is 85 jears old. She is very ill.
I´m 38 jears old, i have a wive from spain and two children.
One boy with 15 jears and a girl with 12 jears.

My mother, Anna Elfriede Pfaffenberger, came to the U.S. in 1948 to marry. She was from a little village called Enchenreuth in Bavaria, Germany. There are many Pfaffenbergers still there today. We grew up in and around Atlanta, Georgia. I am truly surprised at the number of Pfaffenbergers in that area, as I was unaware of them when I lived there. My sister and I are working on our family history and are interested in any other Pfaffenbergers who might have emigrated from the same area of Germany.

Mein Pfaffenberger Vorfahr war von Petzmannsberg, Bayern und eingewandert nach Amerika ungefähr 1834. Es wird etwas von seiner Familie gedacht, die nach geblieben wird. Ich möchte Informationen über sie finden.

Yes, I know a little. In German it means "priest's mountain". There was a town of Pfaffenberg in Germany about halfway between Landschut Regensberg which burned to the ground in 1733. All records were lost. But the area was joined with a nearby market town of Mallersdorf which shows on the map. (Sometimes Pfaffenberger shows also).

Hello, I am a Pfaffenberger as well. Was your grandfather (Clarence Pfaffenberger) the author of several publications regarding the training of dogs and dog behavior? My father read a book of his approximately 20 years ago that apparently contained some genealogical information as an example of pedigree.
