My mother, Anna Elfriede Pfaffenberger, came to the U.S. in 1948 to marry. She was from a little village called Enchenreuth in Bavaria, Germany. There are many Pfaffenbergers still there today. We grew up in and around Atlanta, Georgia. I am truly surprised at the number of Pfaffenbergers in that area, as I was unaware of them when I lived there. My sister and I are working on our family history and are interested in any other Pfaffenbergers who might have emigrated from the same area of Germany.

The following website has some really good information on one branch of Pfaffenbergers from Bavaria. I don't know if it is what you are looking for, but good luck.
