I'm tracing backward from Alexandria,VA with my grandfather George Duncan Peverill (12/11/1901-10/1969). His father was Thomas Peverill, who married Lizzie Duncan in Feb 1878. I would be grateful for any info you might have.

My dad's name is Douglas Leonard Henry Peverill, and we used to live in ambrosden, Oxfordshire when I was a kid. His Father was Henry Peverill, and my Dad is one of 6 kids. I thought we were the only Peverill's on the face of the earth! I'd love to hear from you, and I'm sure my Dad will be amazed to know that probably part of his ancestry lived in the same village he chose to raise us in. My e-mail is fred94@rapidnet.com

The Peverill line has taken on many name changes but none the less backs up to the Royals of England. You descend from the likes of William the Conquerer. Would you would like all of the information about the Peavy, Peavey, Peverill, Pavey lines and their changes through out history? May I suggest contacting Hallie June Peavey < pvscribe@clarkston.com> then hold on to your hat! See you at the family web sites!Lettie

I am interested in the Peverill story. I was born in Alexandria, Virginia in 1955. Father: William Winfield Peverill (only Son) Grand Father: William Henry Peverill (Unsure of siblings if any)
It would be interesting to find out more concerning the Peverill name and any distant relatives.
