I am the 2nd g grandaughter of James Frederick Pile (Plum Tree Plantation) who was born November 18, 1832 Hamden Plantation, St Phillips Parish, Barbados. He married August 06, 1857 in Holy Innocence, St George Parrish, Barbados to Eleanora Wilhelmina Whitehall b Est. 1818-184. They had two children. Reynold Mortimer Pile b 1860 and Ida Eudora Williamina Pile b 1861.
Ida married on September 19, 1885 in Barbados, W.I to Robert Peterkin. Ida and Robert had the following children.
1. Rupert #1 (died)
2.Pembroke Frederick Peterkin b August 28, 1888 married Adele Barrow, Charles Gordon Peterkin b December 27, 1889 (died in WWI)
3. Cuthbert Peterkin who married Dorothy Emtage and had 2 children. He was a coffee planter in Africa.
4. Arthur Peterkin married Kate ? and had 5 children, also had a 2nd wife Hildy
5. Percy Peterkin married Kathleen Taylor and they had 3 children. One of them was Pembroke Peterkin
6. Rupert #2 who married Dorris Marshall
7. Mary b September 1896 married Caspar Gale and had 3 boys. One named Fred and a grandson named Fred
8. Sybil who married Percy Emtage/Emptage. They had 1 boy and she died in childbirth Christmas Eve
9. Annie Peterkin who married Clement Wood. They had 5 childfren. One named Fred.
10. Elsie Peterkin married Rupert Farmer and they had 2 children.
11. Marguerite Peterkin married Gordon Gale
