Just to let everyone know, there are still a few Rodeghieros in Lockport, Illinois. Lockport is about 35 miles southwest of Chicago.
For anyone looking for Pesavento relatives, this area is a gold mine. There are 3 different Pesavento families that are very large and not all related. There was a fourth family I believe, but according to my father, they have all died and never had any family.
There are also Pesaventos that are right from Asiago still living here.
Other names connected to the Pesaventos in this area are Rigoni, Fracaro and Satori.
Hope this helps.

I have Pesavento family from Lockport I recently discovered. I know that my grandfather had a cousin named Mary Pesavento and also my grandfather's aunt was Rita Pesavento who was a Mother Superior in Chicago under Mother Cabrini (now Saint Cabrini). We come from the "sten" clan in Asiago. Have you ever heard of that? We have some old photos and a postcard of my grandfather's cousins from Lockport when they visited Asiago and Rome back in about the 1950's. Please Write Back!!

Thanks
Kristin

Hi Kristin...sorry this took so long!

I asked my father if he ever heard of Mary or Rita Pesavento. Mary rang a bell but Rita didn't. He seemed to think that they may be related to a family of Pesaventos that all passed away without leaving any relatives in this area. Mary was one name he gave me, the others are Louise, Alfred, Arthur and Dorothy.
He also never heard of the "Sten" clan. We're from the "Ness" clan and there's even a group of Pesavento families that are from the "Zowza"(sp) clan.

Let me know if that helps any.
Tony
