Are you related to a Pesavento? My family is
from Connecticut but I live in Pennsylvania.
My grandfather came from Monte Bello in Italy.

I would like to hear from you.

I live in Virginia and my parents currently live in NY. My father's name is Paul and is from the Pittsburgh area. His father's name was Victtorio (correct spelling) and he entered the US through NYC in early 1900s. He was originally from around the Trento, Italy region.

My grandfather came from Monte Bello in Italy
around the turn of the century. Died in 1945.
My parents live in Fairfield CT and there is
a small clan of Pesaventos up there. I live
outside Philadelphia. Eventually, I will post
my family tree, at least to my web site.

Hi,
My great-grandmother was Maria (Mary) Pesavento ....her parents were John Sten Pesavento and Johanna Paganini (sp?) Pesavento. I found it interesting that your from outside of Philly because I used to live there. My mother, Mary Boselli, graduated from Villanova. My Uncle also lives in Valley Forge. My Pesavento family came from Asiago, Italy sometime between 1882 (when Maria was born) ---1900. They lived in Wilkes Barre, PA where my grandfather, Robert Boselli was born. (Maria married Gaetano Salvatore Boselli). I have pictures of our Pesavento family homestead in Wilkes Barre, and also there home that was rebuilt after WW2 in Asiago. I also found some of my Pesavento cousins from Scranton, PA who own a funeral service there that has been in our family for like 89 years. My grandfather's brother, John, was buried there in Cathedral Cemetary in Scranton when he died at one year old. I would love to hear from you and see if any of this connects. Also, I know of some other Pesavento's I have found from Asiago, which is in Northern Italy. I will try to look on a map and see if that is close to where you say your Pesavento family originates from. Please email me at : kmck@coastalnet.com
Thanks!
Kristin

I looked up Asiago, and it is very close to Trento. Please email me!
I could not find the city that bob listed though....? but most likely the Pesavento's are all from the same area.

Ringraziamenti,
Kristin

My grandmother, Catherina Pesavento came from Asiago. Her parents were Rosa Pertile Pesavento and Marco Pesavento. She married Anton or Antonio Lobbia in America in 1904. His father was Giovanni Lobbia.

They lived in Clinton, Indiana, USA. I am looking for any relatives. The Pesavento clan was "Nes". I believe the Lobbia clan was "Pucin".

I'm a Pesavento who lives in Lockport, Illinois. Both my grandparents came from Asiago. My grandfather around 1920 and my grandmother somewhere between 1910-1915. Their names were Antonio and Antonette. I know we are part of the "Ness" clan. As a matter of fact, everyone called my grandfather Tony Ness.
I think I remember my father telling me we had some relatives in Indiana, but I'm not positive. I'll ask him and see what I can get out of him.
If this helps any, my grandmothers maiden name was Rigoni and my grandfathers mother was a Rodighero.
