Hi Robin,
As you fear, you don't have the right one as James and John were brothers. John was the one married to Eliza Perryclear/Perreyclear. If I remember correctly, James did die in/around 1864, but since I haven't been able to devote as much time to this as I would like (life has intervened these last few years), Erik should be able to give you the correct information, if I don't get a chance later today.
