Yes, as a scientist I agree with DNA evidence (or lack thereof). My Dad also had the same reservations about a conclusive link from Phillip Perry I, II, III to the Perrys that appeared later in central North Carolina . Sounds like I could make a career researching and documenting our true lineage. What a shame to rewrite all of those great family lore stories and family trees ;)
