mary PERROT daughter of dorothy DEVEREUX?

Hi everyone,

I'm a descendant of Mary Perrot and my research on her has raised a few questions. Family tree hints here have indicated that Dorothy DEVEREUX is her mother. However, my research on Dorothy has never mentioned Mary as her daughter...it does mention Penelope, Dorothy, Lucy and Elizabeth as her daughters. Has anyone else run into this problem?

Still hoping that someone can give me information on the village or commune that the Perrot family came from in France. Some tell me Pierrefaites, others say Pressigney...maybe both. Help!

Can anyone tell me where the Perrot name originated in France? I have been searching for the name of the commune or department in France where the family lived before coming to the US and settling in Frenchville, PA. Adolph Francois Perrot was born in France around 1842 according to federal census reports and his father's name was Jean and mother Francoise both born around 1799. I have more information on his life in PA but still can't find anything as to French origins. Thanks for any help.

I am searching for information on Jean Perrot born about 1795 in France. His wife's name is Francoise; I do not know her surname. They had two sons, Jean and Adolph, and immigrated to Frenchville, PA at some point...again an unknown. I would like to know where this branch of the Perrot family lived in France and any information would be most appreciated. Of note: on a deed Jean is referred to as "Gangolf". Thank you.

I am looking for information about Claude Perrot and his children Marie-Anne Perrot and Jean-Baptiste Perrot and all of their descendants actually if anyone has anything... my line comes to Connally via St. Pierre, Perrault, Riel, etc.

According to my research I am a descendant of two of Claude Perrot's (1684-1741) children, Jean-Baptiste Perrault (m. Madeleine Robillard) and Marie-Anne Perrot (m. Antoine Riel). These two siblings respectively married their spouses in 1751 and 1739. Then the two families combine again in 1825 when Therese Riel (Antoine, Antoine, Marie-Anne, Claude) married Pierre Perrault (Louis, JBaptiste, Claude). Or at least that's how I think it went.

I've spent a lot of time weeding people in and out, trying to sort out the mess myself and prove any direct links. I haven't asked for help yet but if anyone can help that'd be great. Even if you just tell me I've got something wrong!

I have seen it posted several times that Jacques and Louise ended up selling off their possessions and breaking up: Jacques to return to France........

However, I wonder if anyone can identify this to be the same Jacques Chapelain who attends the wedding of his "brother in law" Guyon Chaisson (Giasson) in 1693 in Acadia........

We have his signature on the marriage contract.......

He spells it Chaplan.......

This would seem to fly in the face of those facts.......

as it clearly looks like they simply moved to Acadia.......

Claude Perrot and Marie Goulet are also my sixth great grandparents. Claude's older brother Pierre who married Marie Champoux and Marie Anne Lescarbot is also my sixth great grandfather. My other six great grandparents on my fathers side are Pierre Perrot and M. Anne Lescarbot

My great grandfather Camille Edouard Perreault, parents were, Narcisse Perreault, who descends from Claude who married Emelie Perreault, who descends from Pierre. They were fourth cousins.

Good Afternoon. I am looking for information about my gr-gr-gr-grandfather Francis Parrot born in Halifax abour 1800. We don't know the exact year. He married Mary Hewitt in 1814 and after she died he married Jane Hutt in 1828. I know nothing about his parents except that his family may have immigrated to Nova Scotia from France or Ireland. Francis Parrot was a Journeyman Cooper in Halifax. He has also spelled his last name as Parrett, Parrot, Perrot. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

did you check catholic parishes for region of St Croix

Sounds like the typically French-Swiss names in the area like Flamion etc. He probably was Catholic and was baptised at the church in St. Croix. My mother's family was from the area.

actually,,in my search of my ggrandmother (Amelia Champaigne,Champlain,) i just came across his picture, he was somewhat of an explorer in the late 1600s ,, im pretty sure if you just type in his name in yahoo google search you'll be able find him as well as a very nice write up about him with a picture. by the way my ggrandfathers name was Isreal Paro,the only info i have on them is from my grandfathers birth certifcate (George Shosea Paro) if any of these names sound familiar i sure could use some help,,i cant seem to find them anywhere.
