I'm just starting my research on my Penrose. I have very little information, so anything is welcome. Amanda Penrose m. James D. Phillips around 1849. James Phillips was born in Ohio, so I'm assuming that Amanda Penrose was too. Eventually their descendants moved to NW Indiana. I've approximated Amanda's birthyear around 1830 or so. They had seven children. Anybody that may have Amanda as a sister to one of their ancestors please contact me. I have nothing on her and would love to find out about her. Thanks!
