Hello Jean & others, benn a long time since I worked on this Penniston line. I have film 592596 from LDS. It is the Bishop Transcript film.

The 1st entries my old eyes could read was the bap. of children of William & Ann: William 29 Sept 1696, Elizabeth 1 Dec 1698, wife Anne also bap. that day., Sarah 6 April 1701, Thomas 14 Feb 1702.

Next I found was marriage of John Warren & Margarett Pennyston 6 July ( not sure of year), Sarah daughter of John Warren & Margaret born 10 July 1716.

21 April1717 lists bap. of William son of Michael Penniston & Elizabeth.

20 April 1717 a William Penniston was buried.

26 Jan (June) 1717 Joseph Frank & Ann Penneston are married.

10 Aug 1718 William son of Michael & Elizabeth is bap.

24 June 1724 Ann Penison buried

May 8 1728 Elizabeth Peniston buried.

March 17 (year?) William Penniston buried.

1744 register signed by Michael Penniston

10 June 1787 or 1788 Thomas, J, Michael Pennyston, adults bap.

1791 marriage of Michael Pennyston & Ann

20 Sept 1797 Sarah daughter of Michael & Ann bap

1796 Thomas & Sarah Dewey Married 24 April 1796

1797 Sarah Penniston infant died

1799 Sarah daughter of Thomas & Sarah bap 12 oCT 1799

Does anyone have copy from parish records for this period? Who is the William whse wife Anne is haveg children 1696-1702? Did he have previous wife who was mother of Margarett, Michael & Ann or was there other Pennistons having children in Plunger before 1680's. Does anyone know who the father of Thomas, Michael, & Jabez are?
