I am looking for the parents of Rebecca Marie Mashew,(my great grandmother) b. abt 1893 in Missouri. Rebecca married William Ed Penningtonin in 1906 in Carroll County Arkansas at age 14.

I can find nothing on her pripor to her life with William. I have ordered a copy of their marriage license, and it's on its way, but I have already spoke to the clerk in Arkansas. She told me that the letter giving consent for marriage from Rebecca's parents (needed because of her age)is missing from the file. So, no parents names there. I can find no record of her birth in Missouri to order a certificate.

I know quite a few details from her life with William due to having family members that knew her still living, but nothing about where she came from.

I would appreciate any help, guidance, ideas, etc...
