I don't know much about my 3x great grandmother. According to the the census reports, she was born about 1843 in Illinois. She married John c. Dallas (b. 29 February 1836 in Ohio, died 28 January 1916 in Oregon) and they had at least five children (where exact dates are given, information comes from the death certificate):

William R. Dallas b: 27 Nov. 1858 in Missouri
Aaron W. Dallas b: about 1862 in Missouri
Effie Jane Dallas b: 20 January 1864 in Iowa
George C. Dallas b: 23 Oct. 1869 in Iowa
Silsby S. Dallas b: 26 Dec. 1872 in Iowa

I know the family was in Walnut Township, Appanoose County, Iowa in 1880. In 1900, I find John in Kansas but he is married to his second wife (who came from Prussia).
