VERNON, Ala. - Mary Christine "Cricket" Pennington, 71, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at her home.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Otts Funeral Home Chapel in Sulligent, Ala., with Bro. Raymond Spann and Bro. Donald Parker officiating. Burial will be in Wofford Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace Pennington of Vernon, Ala.; three sons, Ronnie (Brenda) Pennington of Columbus, Randall (Wanda) Pennington of Vernon, Ala., Tony Hudson of Fredricksburg, Va.; three daughters, Beverly (Charles) Sutton of Hamilton, Lisa (Ricky) Glasgow of Sulligent and Tanya Forestall of Birmingham; grandchildren, Christy Stanford, Greg Pennington, Gary Sutton, Eric Sutton, Brett Pennington, Brody Pennington, Holly Kilby and Polly Forestall; great-grandchildren, Austin Stanford, Andrew Stanford, Alex Stanford, Josie Pennington, Joshua Sutton, Stephen Sutton, Anna Kilby and Gracie Kilby; one brother, Harold Pinkerton of Adamsville, Ala.; sisters, Maxine Pavella of Sulligent, Ludean Perkins of Collinsville, Ala., Jewel Persilo of Adams, Ala., Lavern Corbett of Vernon, Bobbie McDaniel of Sulligent, Faye Hawkins of Guin, Ala., and Angie Franks of Trussville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Lona Pinkerton; two grandchildren, Heather Pennington and Connier Forestall; three brothers, John Lester, George and Troy Lee Pinkerton; and four sisters, Willie Hayney, Lorene Pinkerton, Bertha Dyal and Hazel Anderson.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
