No, my grandfather, with four greats, was not Thomas Jasper. He was the son of Job and "my" Thomas had a brother named Moses, whose son was Wesley, who appears to be the father of your Thomas Jasper. Allen Pendergraft's book indicates that Thomas Jasper married Margaret Ann Spurlock and had 14? children. Hosea is listed as the 7th and was born in 1887. Two children are listed for Hosea, Alvin and Margaret Shiffbauer. Is this the right group? Good luck

I have Quincy A. PENDERGRAFT born 9 Dec 1869 Polk Co. MO died June 1913 Seligman, Barry, MO. Son of Jesse Pendergraft and Ann Eliza Quincy. Qunicy Allen married on 20 Dec 1890 to Ann DUNAWAY.
My records show they had two boys Arthur Allen born 16 July 1892 and Walter born 1895.

Jesse D md Mahala Roller 1 child Mahala died and he married twice more.

I beleive I may have some family members related to "Job Pendergraft". My Grandfather was Buel Henry Pendergraft His parents were James Pendergraft and Margaret Pearce. They were from the Bethany Oklahoma area. Can you help me with any further info needed to complete my family tree? Have you ever heard of a Buel Henry Pendergraft? Buel was born 1/6/1915 and died 10/10/1991 in Bethany Oklahoma.

Jean, I looked in the Pendergrass book and did not find a Buel listed. Do you know James' middle initial, birthdate, or death date? I will check the greater OKC phone book and seen if there are any Pendergrafts who might know something about him. Good luck

Hosea Lilly Candus (Ellis) Pendergraft had 2 children but they were Alvin Earnest Pendergraft (still living) Dallas Pendergraft who died when he was 2 or 3 years old.

Debbie, was Hosea A. born in 1887, the son of Thomas Jasper, the son of Wesley? Allen Pendergraft's book shows children Alvin, as you mentioned, and a Margaret Shiffbauer. Have you ever heard of her? I would like to correct my book. Thanks for letting me know about Dallas. Best wishes.

Betty, yes, he is the Hosea A. born in 1887 no I have never heard the name of Margaret Shiffbauer. My sister, Sandy, has done a lot of work on our side of Pendergraft, I will check with her to see if she knows this name.
