I have some information on John Pembroke's family, his son James born 1855 married Elizabeth Mc Leod

Hi there! I was checking for Pembroke family and found your post. My great-great grandmother was a Mary Ann Pembroke who was the daughter of Richard Pembroke and Mary Farrell. They lived in the Pembroke Lake area near Cheticamp, Nova Scotia. Wondering if my Richard is the same family as yours... His daughter Mary Ann married my Great great grandfather Neil MacKinnon who was born in 1844. At this time, this is the only information I have about my Pembroke family line. The Forest Glen area you are referring to would be where? Yarmouth area?
