Hello Jon,

I am a Pembleton living in the US. I have never done an ancestry look up before but might someday soon. My father was David Pembleton and his father was George Pembleton (wife: Dorris Higgins) (Luzerne, PA / Harvey's Lake PA).

My Father was born 1936 at Harvey's Lake.

Can you make any connections?

Hi. My birth name was Pembleton. My grandfather, Frank Pembleton, was born in Australia and lived much of his life in Rockhampton, Queensland. I don't have a family tree for him, but he lived an adventurous life, working as a timber cutter when he was married, then running a shoe repair/making business, then starting a radio repair business, and finally, moved into selling insurance. If you have recovered any further information about the family, I'd be interested to hear.

Jon-

Hows it going? How long have you been searching for other Pembleton's? I have not known about to many, and all the ones I do know or have discovered I have been related to. Let me know.

Thank You

A.C.P

Ok what you have here a born and bred Canadian Pembleton.
A number of us are also attempting to trace our ancestry back further then from our earliest known ancestor from Groton CT. USA.
Apparently many Pembleton's of the same Given name were also in that area of CT. so it is a bit hard to make the correct lineage in reverse without the documention.
