Found him!!!!!! He's in the Pember book that I have. It lists Harold Stephen Pember, b. Oct. 20, 1913, born in White Plains, NY. The father Harry E. Pember born Oct. 16,1875 Walpole, Mass. (Harry E.) He was a carpenter by trade. His wife was Cecilia Ottly, dau. of Fred Ottly. they were married in 1912. Harold Stephen was their first child and then had 7 more after him.
Somewhere on this list I posted ordering info to get the book I highly recommend it. Hope this helps, Julie

I think the book was about $40.00 + s/h.
IF I remember correctly, we share the same g-g-g-g-grandfather, Elijah Pember. Yup, I just looked it up again. YOur line would be Harold S.,Harry E., Stephen, Daniel B., Stephen, Elijah, John, Thomas (who came here from Hereford England and Married Agnes Way. He died in 1711 when he drowned. that's as far back as the book goes. The name comes from a knight of the royal order of the garder, whose name was Pembridge. There is a Pembridge castle, which may be connected also. There is a town in Hereford called Pembridge which I would like to visit someday. Julie

Julie, Do you have any information on Harold N. Pember? I believe the "N" may stand for "Nevers"
