Jacki-Good afternoon. I hope we can make a connection on our Piekarski relatives. My GGM on my maternal side was Johanna Piekarski married to John J. Stoltman in Poland and they migrated to the US in 1891. I was told that Johanna had relatives in the Polish settlements of Leo and Florian, MN areas which I believe are in either Kittson or Marshall County. My Gf Joseph Ebertowski's, brother John B. was married to Martha Piekarski who's parents were Leo and Maryanna Pokrzywinski. Martha was born in Leo, MN in 1892 and died 1991. Maryanna died in 1896 and is buried in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Warsaw, ND-the only Piekarski in a large Polish cemetery. I have nothing on Leo. Martha was raised by Lawrence and Rosalia Ebertowski Kosecki after 1896 and later married John in 1910. Rosalia was a sister of my GF Joseph Ebertowski and she and her husband came over from Poland. I have no information as to parents or siblings of Johanna. I read in a family history book that one of Johannas nephews went to Minneapolis, MN and stayed with an Uncle Johnny Piekarski. Do you think that Johanna might be related to the Piekarski's that your are looking at. The Minnesota connection seems to be pretty close.

Thanks and hope we are lucky, Jim
