Need help finding more information on Daniel Pegg

I'm stuck with finding information on Daniel Pegg born 1660 - 1702. He would be my 8th great grandfather. I know he was married twice once to Rebekah Martha Allen and after her death to Barbara Jones. Any information would be helpful.

Hi there - I'm also a descendant of Daniel. Have you seen this book?

Also, I believe Roger Huff did a bunch of research on Daniel and his descendants. I have the book linked above as well as one on the descendants of Nathan and Mariah Pegg.

Hello
Daniel Pegg was born in Tyrone, Ireland to Gerald Raymond Pegg (mother is unknown). Eventually Daniel made his way to Pennsylvania, USA, but unfortunately that date is not known. During Daniel's life, he owned 600 acres of land which was called Pegg's Run, he owned a large brick manor house, a plantation and negro slaves as well as a brickyard, a tanyard and a malt house. His religion was a Quaker (the Religious Society of Friends or "Quakers").

Daniel Pegg is my 9th great grandfather. His 6th great grandchild, Samuel Benjamin Pegg, had a son called Leonard Carlisle Pegg (1894-1956), who is my great grandfather. During Leonards life he made his way to England where he met my great grandmother, Florence Deborah Pegg (Povey), they soon got married and had two children whilst in America. Soon after Leonard, Florence and their two sons, Alfred Carlisle and William Benjamin, left America for Australia. Whilst in Orange, New South Wales, Australia then went on to have 5 other children, Carol Virginia, Ethel Leona, Leonard Carlisle, Peter George and Lillian Beautrice. They eventually made their way up the coast into Yeppoon, Queensland. Their youngest child, Carol Virginia Pegg, is my grandmother. Carol and her sister Ethel are the only children of Florence and Leonard alive today and currently still live in North Queensland today. Leonard passed away in September of 1956 in Yeppoon, Queensland, Australia, soon after Florence passed away in April of 1964.

Hope my information about our family was helpful, if you would like to know more about your Australian relatives or other relatives of Leonards , I would be happy to chat about it.
