PEGG-COUTTS--At the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Rosenberg, in Longmont, Wednesday, June 8, 1904, at 12 o'clock, Mr. Martin Ayers Pegg, to Miss Arena Mae Coutts, both of Denver, the Rev. W. L. Reisner of Grace M. E. Church, Denver, officiating.
Promptly at twelve the bride, daintily gowned in champaign colored crepe de chine was led under a canopy of ferns and plants, among which hung a wedding bell of snow balls, where the solemn and beautiful ring marriage ceremony was performed. Only a few near relatives and friends of the bride were present.
Immediately after the ceremony the company sat down to a delicious luncheon.
The house was profusely decorated with cut flowers and potted plants, the predominating colors being pink and white. Miss Coutts is a sister of Mrs. J. L. Rosenberg, and been connected with the Wolf Londoner grocery firm as book keeper for the past three years. Mr. Pegg is manager in Colorado for the Feather-weight Scale Company, of Chicago, his headquarters and office being in Denver.
Amid a shower of rice and old shoes, the happy couple left on the afternoon train for St. Louis, Chicago and the lakes. They will be at home in Denver after July 15th.
