Mrs. [Lola Thomas] Pefley
BROWNWOOD (RNS) ---Mrs. D.A. (Lola) Pefley, 65 of Brownwood died at 5:50 p.m. Monday at the Brownwood Community Hospital after a fourīˇmonth illness. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Ebony Cemetery.
Eugene Hawkins will officiate. Burial will be directed by Morelock Funeral Home.
Born Aug. 7, 1911, in Elkins, she married Daniel Alexander Pefley July 3, 1942, in Comanche. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints. She lived in Brownwood for a year and a half. She had lived in Arlington 20 years. She was a 1930 graduate of Brownwood High School and was Valedictorian of her class.
Survivors include her husband; a sister, Mrs. James Teague of Fort Worth; and a half sister, Jackie Keith of Morgan Hill, Calif.
