Brooke,
While browsing the other evening I run across your Pefley page and was astounded by the information there. I am Daniel Alexander Pefleys son. I was adopted when 18 by Elmer Ford. I have a sister, Viola Simpson also fathered by Daniel Alexander Pefley.
Of course I have much information about him and his offspring and would be happy to add it to your collection. Please respond and advise me of what you would like me to do..
Sincerly yours
Virgil L. Ford

I found your message that you posted on ll-1-2002 concerning your father, Daniel Alexander Pefley. I am a cousin of his second wife, Lola Margarette Thomas Pefley, who he married in 1942 in Commanche, Texas. I have also posted memorials to both of them on Findagrave.com as they are both buried in the Ebony Cemetery in Mills County, Texas. I would like to email you and get more information on him and, possibly, a picture if you have one. My email address is cwelch12@satx.rr.com.
