Lillian [Wainwright] Peffley
WENATCHEE, Wash., Dec. 13.Mrs. Lillian Peffley, 65, who came to this region 50 years ago, died last night at the home of her son, Earl. Funeral services will be held Wednesday.
Born near Warsaw, Ind., she came with her parents to Wilbur in 1888, and married George Peffley there in 1894. Her parents operated the first hotel at Wilbur. After her marriage she lived in Walla Walla six years, and later in Yakima and she came here in 1921.
She leaves four sons, William, Spokane; John, Goldhill, Ore.; Glen and Ear, Wenatchee; three daughters, Mrs. T. J. Reid, Mrs. Glen Steinbach and Mrs. S. G. Pygott, Wenatchee, and one sister.
