Not sure if I have the right person here, but my father John H Clayton ( napier) Had a sister called Eileen who married Professor Robert Peers of the University of Nottingham. I have only found this information quite recently -He also had a brother called Arthur who was a local artist, who I have also recently found more information about-I think its too big a coincidence not to be the same person!! I do hope so. Id love to find out more about them..Eileen was at my fathers funeral the only time I met her.
My father had little or no connection with the family, and Ive often wondered why, I feel I missed out on meeting some wonderfully inspiring people.
