Are you researching the Pennsylvania line of Pecks or the New England line? I come from the PA line. I have a lot of info on my website at www.geocities.com/heartland/village/4782.
I'm always hungry for new data.

Hi:
I am a descemdant of the New England Pecks. Actually through Deacon Paul, who arrived here 9 Sept. 1635, and helped settle Hartford, Conn. in 1636 with the Rev. Thomas Hooker. Do you have this line? Do you connect with this line. Come on back. Bob

Hello,

No. The earliest Peck I have is Jacob Pick, born about 1730 in Switzerland. He had three sons who came to America. The oldest came over in 1767 and settled in Philadelphia. I haven't been able to find anything on the other two brothers yet. It is my understanding that the family originated in Germany.

I am sure you will have your hands full with everyone requesting information. Searching for ancestors of John Henry Peck,(died Feb, 1968 married Della (died Jan. 1998) (unsure of her maiden name.) The names Robert John and William sure are popular with the Peck Family, certainly causes confusion.

Peck info needed!!!!!

Don Hutchins  (View posts) Posted: 1 Nov 1999 8:58AM GMT
Am seeking info on ggrandfather Albert Peck, b. abt 1855. Married Callie Graham, b. abt 1859. Children are Robert, b. abt 1883 in ARK; William, b. abt 1885 in ARK; Minnie Lee (grandmother), b. Nov. 29, 1886 in LA.; and Denpeter, b. abt 1892 in LA. Albert was possibly a minister/preacher. He supposedly became despondent/mentally ill, walked out into a desert, and never returned. Callie was enumerated as head of household, during 1900 census, Union Parish, LA. Any/All help greatly appreciated!! Please contact by e-mail at donbev@nctimes.net.

Hi Linda
Sorry I'm unable to help you at this time. Please leave your E-mail address, and I will get back to you. Yes, we sure do have a great many Roberts, Richards, and Johns in our family history.
