Madison County. He, at one time owned the store I believe, but I know his son LeRoy owned it. It was called
Peck Stores. They sold groceries and even had trucks that delivered them to people who couldn't make it to the store. It was considered a gathering place for many of the locals. It had wood floors and stained glass windows. They had small stools that the men would sit on around the wood burning stove and talk.
His wife's name was Esta Mae
