Ezekiel L. Peavy w. Elizabeth, father of Abner, Annie Jane, Sarah, Amanda. Any information helpful. 1860 census indicates he and Elizabeth were born in Georgia

My Great-Grandfather married a Sarah Peavy, his name was Howard Weathers they lived in Florida. Mainly Tampa. Could this be the same Sarah Peavy that you have?

Opps!!! Sarah was Howard's Mother not his wife, sorry for the confusion!

I have an Ezekial Peavy born abt. 1830, and his children were Abner Peavy, Sarah Peavy, Mary Peavy, Margaret Peavy, Anna Peavy, Martha Peavy. Ezekial's older brother Malachi Peavy married Drucilla Grant and one of their son's was my great great grandfather, Pete T. Peavy. I have a great picture of him on a Donald Duck bike when he was in about his late 50's early 60's.

You can find this line on the internet by looking up "Descendants of Caleb Peavy". I've even put in just Caleb Peavy and gone further back.

I would be very interested to exchange information with you. Your great great grandfather Peter T. Peavy was an older brother of my great grandfather Benjamin O. Peavy.. so Malachi was our common ancestor. I have all of Benjamin's line, of course, and would be happy to share with you.

I also wonder how much you know about Malachi Peavy, or where he is buried. I know he is buried in Laurens Co. SC, but I don't know which cemetery.
