ELIZABETHTOWN — Mary Elizabeth Peasley, 82, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at the Horace Nye Home in Elizabethtown.
She was born, June 3, 1918, in Englewood, N.J., the daughter of Peter L. and Ellen (Crane) Peasley.
Ms. Peasley graduated from the School of Business in Englewood, N.J., and was the executive secretary to the president of Seagrams Co. in New York City.
She is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Theodore and Elizabeth Peasley of Elizabethtown and Peter C. and Patricia Peasley of Ocala, Fla., and Millriver, Mass.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and William Halsch of Sharon, Conn., and Patricia and Alexander Marrack of Honolulu, Hawaii; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and a twin sister, Delia Peasley.
Calling hours will be held at W. M. Marvin's Sons Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, Monday, Feb. 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Elizabethtown.
Burial will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Englewood, N.J.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Elizabeth's Church.
