Do you have any knowledge of a Mary E.(maybe Peak),abt 1850, she had a son James Albert Peak,(1874 MS.) he started using Jones when he started school after his step father Franklin Jones. Because of her youthful age I thought she just might be a Peak and never had a husband, or he died soon after the one son James A.Peak. The family talk is he was born in LA. Just thought someone might have something on Mary E.Peak?
