I dont know how valid the booklet you have referenced may be, but I am a member of the Peacock Family Association of the South and John J. Pierce has extensively researched this family, if we are talking baout the same Peacocks.
I have a pamphlet "Birds of a Feather" that he published that list Archibald as the 4th son of Samuel. Archibald born abt 1762 in Dobbs County, N.C. died 1845 presumably in Washington Co., GA. The pamphlet list Archibalds children as Rhoda 1788-1830s, Asa 1790-1872, John 1791-1860s, and Willis 1795 or 1798-1860s.
If this looks like the Peacocks you are researching email me at bamawildmn@comcast.net and I will be more than happy to share what info I have.
You can also go to www.peacockfamily.org and see if there is anything there to help.
