I have been able to find John with Dorothy in 1910, 1920 and 1930. I believe that I have also found Dorothy in 1880 and 1900. It appears that Dorothy never married unless she did after 1930. In 1910 New Jersey Bergen County Hackensack, she has several other people living in the house other than John but none are family members as far as I can tell from the census info. Dorothy is listed as a Dressmaker with her own establishment. In 1920 New Jersey Bergen County Saddle River, her foster brother John Gilbert or Gilber is living with her and John and listed as a civil engineer designing boats and Dorothy is listed a a Farmer. In 1930 New Jersey Bergen County Saddle River it is just Dorothy and John in the house and she is once again listed as a dressmaker.

Now this info may or may not be Dorothy but I believe it is. In 1880 Pennsylvania Bucks County Solebury George W. Peacock 39 from TN and parents from TN and wife Sallie 49 from PA and parents TN with daughter Goldie 7. George is listed as a Morocco Dresser which is a person that tans hides.

In 1900 PA Philadelphia there is Goldie as head of household b. Dec 1872 27 listed as dressmaker. Her father George b. Jul 1842 58 listed as a morocco dresser but here it list him and his parents a from PA. They also have a boarder Mary Weidemer living with them.

The 1910 and 1920 census' list John as being born in New York and the 1930 as New Jersey. 1910 and 1930 list his parent as both from New York but the 1920 list his mother as from Massachusetts.

I did every search I could think of doing in 1900 trying to place a George Peacock and an Irene Horton in a location close enough that they could have known each other but to no avail. I tried NY and NJ and even searched for Irene in Mass. I did find one Irene in Mass in 1900 that could be the right one but could not locate her again in 1910. 1900 Mass Middlesex County Somerville, there is a Chas P Horton with wife Annie. They have Irene, Betsy, Chester A. and Arthur W. Irene is 16 b Jan 1884. I was able to find Chas and Annie again in 1910 but no Irene. Irene's mother Annie was listed as from Scotland so I did a search of just the name Irene born Mass with mother born Scotland and could not find an Irene whose mother was from Scotland and father from Mass.

I also searched for a George Peacock with wife Irene with no luck. I also tried just George and Irene with no surnames and again turned up a blank.
