Re: Irene (Horton) Peacock
Thank you so much for all of the information. I had found some of it. No Dorothy never married she moved to California with my father and her foster brother John Gilbert.
It is as if Irene Horton never really existed. On my Dad's B-Cert. it lists his father George W. Peacock as a traveling salesman (hmmmm) And it is funny that Dorothy's fathers name was also George W. Peacock and that he lived with Dorothy and that she took care of him until he died.
I doubht that I will ever find out the correct answers or what happened to Irene and George.
I know that Dorothy's parents took care of many foster children over the years I have even found their house in Carversville PA
I just wonder if there was hanky panky going on back then.
It is a mystery that drives me crazy.
Again thank you for all of your help.
I don't where else to look for info.
