No it would not cause problems for me. I don't know how any other relatives would feel about it. But if that is the reality of things, Oh well. I don't know any of them anyway. I am sure of it!!! I have checked back into Dorothy's family for any other George Peacock who could have been my dads father but there are no likely candidates. And since he always went by George W. Peacock and that is the way it is listed on the birth certificate. I wonder????????
If that is the case I am sure the adoption was handled within the family and I doubht if there are any records of it.
I should write a book.
