I have a published book that I wrote which contains all the history of the first Peaches in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. It is The Peach/Peachey Migrations, 1066-1990. I still have copies available if you are interested. If not, let me know specifically what you need, and I will try to help. John H. Peach

Although originally from England, my Peach family has been in Newfoundland since 1800 (perhaps before) so I'm afraid there's no connection to your family.

The first five chapters were about the English ancestry, and then there is a chapter that shows the early ancestry of the Newfoundland and Nova Scotia Peaches and how they came from England.

The Peach/Peachey Migrations, 1066-1990, was written by me and can be ordered directly from me. It is hard bound, 411 pages, fully indexed and traces the Peach family back as far as 650 A.D. and attempts to identify all the branches which came to America. Please email me at Peachroot@aol.com for information about how to get your own copy. John Harding Peach

The earliest one I have on record is Andrew Peach, who came from Somersetshire, England, prior to 1800, settling in Salmon Cove, Newfoundland. John Harding Peach

Hello there,

I see this is an older posting, so I hope this reaches you. I have been hitting roadblocks left and right about my ancestors. The information I have is about a man named Wellington Peach, born around 1819 in Virginia.

I don't have parents names. What I DO know is that he met and married Sarah Ellen Michael and spent most of his life in Indiana (Parke County) He had 2 daughters, Emma and Sarah. He died in 1894 in Bridgeton, IN. He was my 4X great grandfather.

I am trying to find out his parents names. I would be happy to buy your book if it includes Wellington. my email address is Nickiewallace@hotmail.com
