YOUNGSTOWN – Services will be Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Ms. Jennifer “Jenny” Peace, 60, who departed this life Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at Valley Care North Side Medical Center.

Ms. Peace was born Dec. 15, 1952, in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of Milton L. Eskew Sr. and Ada Peace.

She was a graduate of Lawrence County Votech High School. She was a member of the Everlife Worship Center and dedicated trustee of the Everlife Worship Center Kings Little League Football Organization of which she helped to organize.

She leaves to forever cherish her memory, her mother, Ada Peace of New Castle; stepmother, Mabel Eskew of Youngstown; two children, Michael L. Peace and Leonard Schroeder, both of Youngstown; five brothers, Milton L. Eskew Jr. and Brian A. (Annette) Eskew, both of Youngstown, Ohio, Karl (Toni) Eskew of Maryland, Charles Peace of Atlanta and Derick (Kelly) Peace of New Castle; two sisters, Yvonne Daniels of North Carolina and Venita Peace of Atlanta; three stepbrothers, Alfred (Regina) Boyd of Washington, Raymond (Beverly) Boyd of Youngstown and Larry (Debbie) Boyd of Maryland; special children, Willena L. Phillips, Jason Pinkard, Darrell Hubert, Vincent Sherman, Damion Williams, John Drummond Jr., Abdul Muhammed, Jason Hewlett, and Gerald Banks; an aunt, Lillian Eskew Tyson; favorite cousin, Ernestine Carlock; best friend, JoAnn Hobart; 14 grandchildren, including Treyell Schroeder, whom she reared; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Besides her father, Milton Eskew Sr., she was preceded in death by a son, Brett A. Schroeder Sr.; and two twin brothers, Rodney and Robert Eskew
