May be a connection, Joseph Peace was born in Pennsylvania about 1775. Could be the son of John Peace. Joseph was married to Annie Rudhal around 1794. He died in 1853 in Whitley County, Kentucky. If this is any help, please contact me.

The great grandparents of John Neeves Peace were natives of England and emigrated to America before the Revolutionary War and settled in Virginia. Don't know their names.

John Peace (Grandfather of John Neeves Peace) was born on a ship during the voyage to America, grew to manhood in Virginia and was a patriot during the Revolution. In the latter years of the 1700's he came to Georgia and took up his soldiers claim of 250 acres of land in Hancock County where he lived until his death. He taught school for many years.
