Seeking parents' names of Eliza Rachel Paylor who married Learcus Jacobs in 1844. Learcus was the son of Elijah Jacobs (1790-1860) who was born in Caswell Co. NC and died in Person Co. NC. He was in a part of Caswell County (St. Luke's District) which became a part of Person Co. when it was formed. Two of Learcus' brothers were the first physicians licensed in North Carolina. His mother was Susanna Johnston (1786-1842). Learcus married Eliza Rchel Paylor in 1844 probably in Person Co. NC. They later moved to Arkansas. Learcus and Eliza had sons named John E. Jacobs and William S. Jacobs who were still minors when their father died. Learcus had relatives in Dallas Co. Arkansas. I don't know where in Arkansas he lived.
