We are looking for relatives of Florence Pay (nee Blaber), her brother in law emigrated to Canada, not sure when We can remember them writing in the 1960's to Bill & Ethel Albone who lived in Witham, Essex, England. It is believed that Florence Pay had a brother Arthur Ernest Blaber who was in he Army for many years amd maried an American lady Selina Anne Mathew. Can anyone help?

This family is documented in the Blaber Family Website. The URL is http://www.mnemonics.freeserve.co.uk/
On the left side of the home page is a menu, select Family Trees. At that page, scroll down a long way until you get to the listing for Frederick Blaber before 1805.
In that family, you will find the menu listing all the members of the family. Florence and Arthur are listed, as well as their children.
Happy Hunting.

Surnames: Pay, Paye, Payne, Peay, Austin, Alstein, Fennelly,
My gg father was named either Wlm A, (William Arthur) a brother of Alfred who left UK around 1886 to the USA), who was a mining engineer (with obviously a brother called Alfred & sisters Ada, Florence & Alfred's mother (remarried? Mrs Maling, OR he was from Sussex ancestry...
Arthur Pay eg. lived in the UK, South Africa, USA settled in Surinam after he (re)discovered bauxite ore in 1914.
He had a wife in SA (Elisabeth),and was had at least 2 relationships in Surinam (Henriette Victorine Fennely & my gg mother (Elizabeth/Bessy Austin).
Very curious how this plot thickens:-)

Grtz,
Robin W. Pay (Dutch)

Surnames: Blaber Pay

In the Lloyd's Weekly from August 1900, "Alfred Pay calls for his long lost mother, Mrs Maling, his sisters Ada and Florence & his brother Arthur Pay, a mining engineer who has in been in South Africa 20 years" (either Arthur was 20 years old, or lived in SA for 20 years. I suspect the latter.
