I need the lineage of the offspring of Bowman PAXTON.
......1886/89 Bowman PAXTON lost a fight with a blacksmith tradesman of Malden, Missouri and was down for 3-4 weeks, unable to rise from bed for the injuries. When he was able to get up, he went out and waited for that blacksmith and apparently shot that blacksmith dead. He was jailed at Kenneth, Missouri. When the PAXTON kinfolk/family hired bodyguards for to protect Bowman PAXTON, only one showed up. The bodyguard was arrested. Bowman PAXTON had a hearing to go to at Malden, Missouri and the officers didn't put him on a train, they put him in a hack and took him down the "Pole Road". The "Pole Road" was an route made of logs put down over the marsh and swamp. In route to the hearing at Malden, some fellas came and took Bowman PAXTON to a tree and lynched him.
Bowman PAXTON had lived in New Madrid County, Missouri where he married and lost two wives of the surname STEWART.
Being a widow, he married again to Polly SMITH and lived in Dunklin County, Missouri where he died. There were legal arguments over Bowman PAXTON's deceased wife's land that were unfinished at the time of Bowman PAXTON's death. A son was left without mother nor father and came of age to try to recover that property without success. Where is his lineage now?

Hello!
I am researching Bowman Paxton as well. My husband is a descendant through Bowman's granddaughter, Rozena. I just came across Bowman Paxton and knew he had to have been married before Polly Smith. Wo were the tow other wives? One of them is Rozena's grandmother. I can help you with what I have.
Thanks
