The 1850 census shows James b VA 1839, father John Patton b 1788, mother Elizabeth b VA abt 1797.

Their daughter, Lida b. 1862. She attended Miami Ohio college (probably Western Reserve College for Women) and became a Friend's minister.

I would appreciate any information about these folks. I do not have death dates or places of death for them. Also wonder if the rumors about being related to General George Patton are true.
