Looking for the father of James Patterson b in Tn abt 1823 and married Martha b abt 1825. James' mother is Nancy J. born abt 1799 in NC. James has two sisters Susan who married George Kirkland and Sarah who married Thomas Kirkland in Lincoln County, Tn. May be other siblings. Any info that will help me find out who James, Susan, Sarah's father was would certainly be wonderful. I am sure also that Nancy would like to have a husband. This info was taken from the 1850 Lincoln County census. This family may be descendants of one of the 7 Patterson brothers who migrated into Tn from the Carolinas. Thanks so much.
