I am a direct decendent of john parsons of Bridgnorth, he was a twin, his brother died at a few months old.John appeared in Willenhall on the 1841 Census and was living next door to Emma T in Jefferies lane later changed to Peel ST. 1891 see's the family living at 47, Wood st, 1901 in Wellington Terrace, 1911 in Waterglade lane, after that Brickiln st Portobello. And colin smith of OZ is my cousin who I only discovered in the last two years.
I was told by my mother over 60 years ago that an Aunt went to America approx 1911, missed getting on Titanic went into service [housemaid] for the man who owned the Arrow Shirt and Collar Co at Troy upstate New York on the Hudson river. I too still live in Willenhall and would love to meet up with any members of the Parsons family.
