I have a John Parry b. abt 1870 in Caldicott, Wales. He was married to Mary Pickman b. 24 Mar 1872. I am decended from their son William Parry b. 24 Feb 1814 who married Mary Ann Thomas, b. 1 May 1820. They had Eliza Parry b. 21 Oct 1851 who married Henry Vreeland. They had my gg grandmother Margaret (maggie) Katherine, who married Ed Mcrea, B. 15 Nov 1867.

Can you tell us where William was born, please. Also Caldicot?

I am a descendant of William's brother Thomas who married Sarah Hannah Colton. Thomas became a sheriff in Idaho and died in Malad, Oneida, Idaho. I have in my possession several articles and documents and some photographs regarding Thomas. I've had two cousins who have tried to find more information on John Parry of Caldicot without success. What information do you have on John?

He married Mary Pickman, b. 17 Mar 1782 at Caldicot, Monmouth, Wales and d. 22 Mar 1868 in Caldicot, Monmouth, Wales. She was the daughter of William Pickman, b. abt 1756 at Caldicot, Monmouth, Wales and Sarah, b. abt 1760. They had William, (b. 24 Feb 1814, at Caldicot, Monmouth, Wales. d. 2 Nov 1854, at Ely, Llandaff, Gilmorgan, Wales), Sarah, b. abt. 1809, Elizabeth, b. abt. 1813, Thomas, b. abt 1815, and George Parry, b. abt 1817.

My William married Mary Ann Thomas, 6 May 1843 at Wenvoe, Gilmorgan, Wales. She was b. 1 May 1820, at Twyn-Yr-Odyn, Galmorgan, Wales. d. 5 Jun 1907, in Malad, City, Id. She had been married to William Hobbs in abt. 1840 and William Phillips in 1858. She had Edward , b. 24 Feb 1857 and David Phillips, b. abt. 1860.

William Parry and Mary Ann had Thomas, Mary Ann, Harriett, William, Eliza, Sarah, and Charlotte. I have more information on those children if you want it. Can you share additional information on your Thomas and Sarah and any other siblings? Thank you

I was a little confused. I think your Thomas was b. 16 Sept 1845 and married Sarah Hanna Colton (Kniveton), b. 30 May 1860 on 25 Jan 1882. So I think he would be the brother to my Eliza Parry, b. 21 Oct 1851. Does that sound correct?

I'm sorry. I did mean son rather than brother. I received your information on Eliza. What info do you need on Thomas? or rather what do you already have?

I have the information on your Thomas. Do you have spouses for his children? I only have Paul Parry, b. 9 Feb 1892, married to Mary Mildred Jones, b. 16 Feb 1898, married 22 Dec 1915. Is there anything about Thomas's days as a Sheriff that was interesting? Did you have the same information as I?
