I had an uncle named Luis Parada buy he lived and married here in ths state of Sonora, Mexico; dates dont match because he died aprox in 1930. I had another uncle, Enrique Parada Campodonico, he was about 20 years when he emigrated to the U.S. (I guess) We never heard about him again. Try the Family Search page of the Mormons, they have a lot of information. Good luck.

Hi, I've been able to trace my surname back as far as 1492 in Spain, but I can't find the meaning of my Parada surname; the only definition I got was from Polish Roots, they say the Parada surname originated near the Mazurian Lakes in northeastern Poland, so I've been wondering for a long time maybe a pole moved to Spain before the above mentioned date and founded the Spanish Parada family, do you have any data regarding this ?
This is the first time I post a note here, I suppose you must post a note here but could you mail your answer to my mail too? it's eoza@hotmail.com, Thanks!

I would love to have more information and to correspond with you. My Grandfather Michael (or Mikel) Porada (or Porado) immigrated from Austria/Hungary circa 1907 and settled in the NY/NJ area. Can you possibly forward additional information about your Family Tree, both in Europe and/or here in the US.
